Significant Flooding Reported at Many Locations Throughout Illinois

IDOT prepares map showing Road Closures on Illinois Highways

Recent weather conditions have caused significant flooding conditions at many locations throughout the state. State and local resources have been allocated in effort to combat the effects of rising waters and to preserve life, property, communities and transportation networks. A map showing "Flooding Closures" on Illinois highways has been developed. Once at the map, click on the segment in question and a text box will be displayed with detailed information. For information on the most current Flooding Closures, check the Road Closure list.
