The 2007 Illinois Department of Transportation's Annual Fall Planning Conference will be held September 13-14 at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center in Rockford, IL. Those encouraged to attend include the Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Transportation Planners, and consultants who are in the transportation field.
Topics for the conference will include Future Strategies of the MPOs, Best Practices in Planning, Linking Land Use and Transportation, Illinois Tomorrow Corridor Planning Study Success Stories and Freight Planning.
The invited keynote speaker will be Rodney E. Slater, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, who will share his experiences with you about the world of transportation funding and national priorities.
