Public Act 095-0009 Section 5-10. Broadband Access on
Passenger Rail Plan. The Department shall deliver to the Governor and
General Assembly a plan for ensuring high speed data transmission
services on all passenger rail systems in Illinois at fair and
reasonable prices no later than December 31, 2007. The plan shall
include recommendations for acquiring necessary rights of way,
installation of necessary infrastructure, operation of high speed data
transmission services, and funding sources.
